Container presses

STALCO container presses of the SKPC/SKPCM series, with capacities of 5 to 25 m3, reduce the volume of waste even by a factor of five compared to their bulk volume and have been specially designed for the compaction of municipal and industrial waste, with special consideration for waste with a high moisture content (e.g. for large industrial kitchens, hotels, catering companies, and commercial facilities in the food sector).
Waste compaction lets us reduce the costs of transport significantly. For the time during which waste is transported, the correct fixing components for the given system must be used. As a standard, we offer roller containers with the hook loading system and containers with the gate loading system.
They are suitable for loading from the ground, from a ramp or a funnel (e.g. installed next to a building). Various type containers can also be (optionally) loaded using tipplers.
The main advantages of such devices include: a self-cleaning swing piston that eliminates costly cleaning, extremely high-efficiency, high compaction strength, the waste chamber’s divergent structure that contributes to its easy emptying, a strong and stable structure made of good-quality structural steel. The equipment meets the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the regulations aimed at accident prevention (CE declaration of conformity).

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The devices are standardly equipped with:

  • a container is 75% full alert (control lamp)
  • a foldable and adjustable front hook (1570/1470mm) to facilitate access while filling
  • a dump gate with ratchet lock; hinges mounted to the top
  • a power distribution box and hydraulic unit accessible both from the side and from the top, assuring easy maintenance
  • safety control using electrical systems, which can be easily expanded for many additional functions
  • standard locks preventing the compacted waste from moving back out
  • profiled unloading doors to improve compaction efficiency

Additional options, among others, include:

  • a container is 100% full alert (alarm lamp indicating that the container is completely full)
  • piston setting in the “open” position (the piston stops in a position that always opens the entire inlet opening) or “closed” position (the piston stops in a position that always closes the entire inlet opening)
  • a remote control (from the ramp or inside the building) using a cable and plug for data transfer
  • an inlet cover in various versions
  • an additional rear hook and front rollers to permit operation on both sides integrated or mobile hydraulic tippler suitable for most standard waste containers
  • activation by a photocell
  • the option of receiving a text message about filling (and other service messages)
  • guide rails: for the easy coupling of the container and to secure the subgrade

STALCO container presses of MPC-A/-K/-N/-L types, with capacities of 5 to 25 m3, reduce the volume of waste by even a factor of five compared to their bulk volume.

They are perfect for compacting all sorts of municipal and production waste, as well as materials for recycling (paper, cardboard, foil, packaging material, etc.). Waste is compacted in the press container. The volume reduction significantly reduces the costs of waste transport. For the time during which waste is transported, the correct fixing components for the given system must be used.
We offer roller containers with hook loading system and containers with gate loading system as a standard.
They are suitable for loading from the ground, from a ramp, or a funnel (e.g. installed next to a building). Various type containers can also be loaded using tipplers (optionally). For large-size waste, a compactor with a reinforced structure is available.
The main features of such devices include: a large inlet opening, extremely high efficiency, high compaction strength, heavy waste can be loaded (e.g. up to 4 tonnes of cardboard or more), the divergent structure of the waste chamber assures its easy emptying, the compaction chamber and the piston are made of good-quality structural steel.

  • seals at service door; actuator chamber with safety switch
